Through the S.A.M.F. — Family Medical Assistance Service, Clínica Central de Quarteira provides the holder and their household members with the services below, during the following schedule: Monday to Friday 08:00–20:00; Saturday 08:00–19:00.
Covered services
- Free General Practice consultations, on-site, by appointment or walk-in;
- Free General Practice consultations by videocall or phone, when possible;
- Free Nursing services, on-site;
- Free Urgent treatments, including available urgent medication;
- 40% discount on home medical consultations;
- 50% discount on laboratory tests;
- 20% discount on Dental Medicine;
- 20% discount on Specialty consultations, on-site or at a partner facility;
- Agreement discount on Imaging (ultrasound, X-ray, CT, MRI) at a partner facility;
- 30% discount on Spirometries;
- 30% discount on Electrocardiograms.
Any service not listed is charged at the current private price list.
Fees and duration
- Minimum stay: 1 year.
- Payments per quarter, semester or year, at the counter or by bank transfer.
- Each quarter costs €65.00, for up to 4 people per household. Additional members: €5.00/month (1st), €7.50/month (2nd), €10.00/month (3rd) — the recommended maximum.
- Registration fee of €15.00, plus the first quarter.
- Quotas are paid in advance, by the 10th day of the first month of each period.
Term and cancellation
The agreement takes effect 48 hours after signature and is valid for 1 year, automatically renewed quarterly unless cancelled in writing 30 days before the end of the period.
Identification at Reception
Member number identification and quota verification are mandatory whenever S.A.M.F. services are requested.
